What is your returns policy?

Our Returns Policy is very simple.

All products purchased through this website are covered by our 21 day guarantee. If you are not totally satisfied with your order or have simply changed your mind, please return the product to us within 7 days of your order date. When you receive your item, you must check it as soon as possible following receipt and always before use. We are not responsible for incompatibilities caused by DVD players that have been modified to disable regional encoding. 

Please ensure if you choose to return your item you quote the (Delivery Note Number you received with your item).

All products purchased through this website are covered by our 21 day guarantee. If you are not totally satisfied with your order or have simply changed your mind, please return the product to us within 7 days of your order date. Software must remain sealed, and hardware must contain all component parts. If any goods are returned damaged we reserve the right to levy a charge commensurate with our costs of processing the sale.
We cannot refund or exchange an opened item unless it is faulty, or if the item was sent to you through our error. Each returned item will be tested. In case the item is found not to be faulty by our test center it may be returned to you and you will be liable for the postage. We will not refund postage for items found to be in good working order. Please include your name and address and an explanation as to why you are returning the item(s).
We do not issue refunds on game points as all points are registered and once opened are void of warranty. If any goods are returned damaged we reserve the right to levy a charge commensurate with our costs of processing the sale. We do not issue refunds on game points. If you have a game that is defective just keep your receipt and contact the game supplier so they can help you with this issue. We do not offer any refund on open games or software, only the official manufacture covers this warranty.

You are entitled to refund equaling the amount paid for the goods, however if postage has been paid to deliver the goods to your address, this amount will be retained as long as the goods have been delivered as described and fit for purpose.

Please send the item back via Recorded Delivery – if goods are not sent back to us by recorded delivery and/or in cases where goods are lost or not received, www.channelgoods.com cannot be held responsible for any loss sustained. We do not accept returns for non-faulty unwanted items in any circumstance if they have been opened/unsealed (Video Games, DVD's)

Europe and the rest of the world

We have a 30 day returns policy for all our customers outside of the UK. Should you not be completely satisfied with your order, you have changed your mind or you have received a damaged or incorrect item please contact us and we will provide you with a returns address and we will refund you for the postage cost of returning the parcel. Please note in cases where you have changed your mind, we will not refund you for the cost of returning the parcel. Once we have received and processed the return, we will send an email confirming the refund or replacement has been processed.  

Once we have received and processed the return, we will send an email confirming the replacement or refund (for the cost of the item) of the order has been processed.

Testing

We do test every single return, and if a returned product is found not to be faulty by our www.channelgoods.co.uk test center we will return the product to you with a postage charge not exceeding £4 for Software and £15 for Hardware. To prevent this please explore every possible avenue to try and get your product operating as it should be before returning and contact the manufacturer if necessary for assistance.


What should I do when returning the item?

When returning the order please return the items with the original packaging and include:

  • -    Your order number/Original Delivery Note
  • -    Your name
  • -    Your email address
  • -    The reason for the return
  • -    Whether you would like a refund or a replacement


Unfortunately we are unable to process your returned parcel until we receive this back so please ensure you return the item as soon as you can.

What items are not covered ?

Please follow our returns authorization procedure on Channelgoods.com. Please notify Channelgoods.com of the problem in writing as soon as possible and preferably within 14 working days of delivery of the goods. NOTHING IN THIS CLAUSE AFFECTS YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS. We do not cover items damaged by personal use ex (broken or misused items after delivery). We can offer a replacement item or repair service for an additional charge.

What do I do if I have not received my order?

In the unlikely event that you do not receive your order after 15 working days from dispatch (21 days for Europe or 30 days for the rest of the world), please first check with your post office to ensure they do not have your parcel. Please also check with your neighbors or other members of your household in case someone else has received it on your behalf. Failing this, please contact us at contact us and we will investigate the whereabouts of your order. Please note that we do not have the ability to track orders as First Class Standard Post does not contain tracking information.  

Items that cannot be returned :


Due to copyright laws, computer and game console software, music CDs, DVDs and videos in opened packages may only be exchanged for the same item. Shipping and handling (S&H) charges are non-refundable; however, we will gladly refund your original shipping cost if you are returning an item because of an error on our part, or we have determined that the product is defective.
